American filmmaker Matthew Akers dedicated a documentary to Serbian artist Marina Abramovic. It traces his life of Pope of performance (she is one of the pioneers) with, as an anchor, the latest at the MoMA in New York. Three months during in 2010, she sat for eight hours a day while marching on the chair in front of spectators who came to watch and be watched by her. Nothing else. This is a good opportunity to discover a new facet of Serbian culture: strong and sensitive at the same time. And yes, they are not all « criminals » or tennis player!
