Los Angeles is a paradise for vintage lovers. In all the city, shops bloom from the simply Thrift shop to a very high standard. Here are my Top 3 of places not to miss for your vintage shopping in LA
Founded in 1996 by Mark Haddawy and Katy Rodriguez, Resurrection is the benchmark for luxury vintage. There are clothes by Alaïa, Courrèges and Chanel in perfect condition like new. Beware, prices are high like the selection (3000$ for an Alaïa’s dress). But the place worth a visit to admire pieces worthy of a fashion museum.

There should schedule at least an hour in this shop: time to look at everything and try. The selection is very wide: unknown brands to the French couturiers, clothing for men and women, accessories and shoes. The prices are reasonable. I’ve found two shirts in silk by Diane Von Furtenberg at $ 45 each without taxes. If my friends had not been so impatient, I would have spent much more!
7428 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046
This shop sells second-hand clothes from the 20s to 80s for women, men and children as well as accessories and shoes, all at low prices ($ 25 for a dress)
